Koupaia Studio is very pleased to present Harmony, a collection of paintings from Christelle Le Louarn.
The love story between Christelle Le Louarn and Asia is a long-lasting one which finds its roots in her early childhood when it became obvious she had not only a talent but a passion for Chinese calligraphy. That is precisely why she did not miss the first opportunity, a few years later, to move to Singapore, where her artistic genre and cultural influences met with a plethora of new experiences. Singapore is also the place where she found her fresh and dynamic style, her distinctive personal touch: the perfect fusion of Asia and the West.
Harmony is a collection blending Chinese ink on rice paper with vivid acrylic tones on canvas.
Harmony is a group of paintings both unique and connected, as if they were members of the same family.
Harmony brings you with subtlety to the frontier between contemporary painting and design.

Christelle Le Louarn et l’Asie, c’est une longue histoire d’amour qui prend racine dès l’enfance, où elle se passionne pour la calligraphie chinoise. Aussi saute-t-elle sur l’occasion, quelques années plus tard, d’aller vivre à Singapour ; elle y enrichit avec ferveur son éducation et sa culture artistiques. C’est là-bas qu’elle trouve son style, frais et dynamique, cette touche qui lui est propre et qui n’est autre que la fusion réussie de l’Asie et de l’Occident.
Harmony est une série entremêlant encre de chine sur papier de riz et acrylique aux teintes vives sur toile.
Harmony est un ensemble de tableaux à la fois uniques et solidaires, tels les membres d’une même famille.
